FIELD PUZZLE! PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION
This cache will take you to Hudson Springs Park, a 260 acre park with a 50 acre lake. There are three picnic pavilions, two miles of trails, disc golf, horseshoes, sand volleyball, corn hole, and playground. The lake is suitable for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Daylight caching only.
The posted coordinates will take you to the first stage. You will be off trail, so dress appropriately! You do not need to go through a swampy area or climb a steep hill to get to this stage. Follow the trails to avoid those areas.
When caching there often are POSITIVE and NEGATIVE aspects of each hide and sometimes something that is not obvious at first -- or second glance. At the posted coordinates you will need to determine the last 4 digits of the North coordinates (all blue) and West coordinates (all green) for the FINAL location AND the 4 letter word for the combination needed to open the final. Note: you will "find" the letters for the word one at a time, and not necessarily in the same manner. All that is needed to accomplish that task is provided. (Note: A 9 Volt battery is provided which will be checked periodically, however, you may want to bring your own just in case it is dying.) NO TOOLS ARE NEEDED! Please return everything as found and “scramble” the letters on the lock at the final when done. Please no spoilers in your logs or photos (they will be deleted). You must sign the log to claim the find.
