I started the Johnny Appleseed series about three months ago as I watched my caching karma droop over the years, and felt the need to give back, and explore the local trails in a different perspective. Since those 50 caches were placed, my karma has doubled from 0.35 to over 0.70, so I'm starting round two, sprinkling caches along the trails just a bit farther from home.
This cache is at the junction of several trail in Rancho San Antonio, one of the most popular of Silicon Valley parks. Here you'll find the confluence of the Wildcat Canyon Trail, Wildcat Loop Trail, High Meadow Trail, and the Coyote Trail. The cache is near the gate that separates the trails, and keeps those pesky horses from going up the Loop Trail I guess. Check the hint if the coordinates are a bit off. Beware of Muggles in this busy part of the park. Tie your shoe!
Congratulations to catomcat for another Rancho JAS FTF!
Good luck, enjoy the trail, and remember it is good to give back!
