This cache is placed on the Caledon Trailway. The Caledon Trailway is a 35km multi-use trail, ideal for walking, cycling, horseback riding, cross-country skiing in winter, and for finding caches all year long.
The trail follows the path of an abandoned rail line that one linked Hamilton with Barrie.
The Town of Caledon purchaased the rail section in 1989 and it became the first officially designated portion of the TransCanada Trail in 1995. The country's first Trans Canada Pavilion was built in Caledon east in 1996.
PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP AND STAMP PAD FROM THE CACHE, AS IT IS PART OF THE "LETTERBOX" CACHE.
