Welcome to Rocky Hollow. Yes, it's a cache hidden in a hollow among some rocks. These particular rocks are on the east side of the nearby Toolern Creek, Melton South.
While the rocks and their hollows never move, the creek does move, but only sometimes. Something that is moving, and moving fast, is the suburban housing development that is approaching from the east. When this cache was hidden in March 2018, temporary fencing around a new housing estate was only about 26 metres east of GZ and roadworks in the new estate were well under-way. The previous year the only fences on the east side of the creek were farm fences.
If you search methodically the cache will be easy enough to find once you're at GZ, and the terrain has some small elevation changes, what with going down a creek bank, crossing the creek, and then going up the other bank.
The cache contains a log, a pen and a pencil, a First To Find card and some swag. Please remember the geocaching rule: Only take swag if you swap it for something of equal or greater value. Please return the cache to its hiding place as you found it. If there are problems with the cache please email me and I'll do maintenance. This cache has a volume of 2L so it's classified as a Regular (M)* size.
There is plenty of safe, road side parking on the west side of the creek. Please dress sensibly, look out for snakes on days of warm weather and tall grass, and watch your footing when you're crossing the creek and clambering over the rocks.
