Come on out and help us give a little back by cleaning up a portion of US HWY 222 in Belvoir between 33 and 43.
Meet at the posted coordinates on April 21st, 2018 at 10:00am - please be prompt - and we will end by 12:00ish. Please park on the side of the dirt road so as to not block the dirt road off.
This location was requested by the Pitt County Sheriff department, as there is a lot of trash in that area. NC DOT will be providing gloves, trash bags, and reflective vests for all who attend. We highly recommend you wear hiking boots due to the terrain and your welcome to bring your own gloves if you have ones you’d rather use. Please dress appropriately for the weather for that day.
All trash bags will need to be set along side the road, as the trash bags will be picked up the next morning.
We will be taking a group photo at the beginning of the day. We will have a few games and prizes/swag! We will provide drinks and chips. We have also placed multiple caches that will not be published until right before the event :) but there are also some in the area already!
Come out and have fun while helping clean up our earth. Get to meet other cachers and find newly published caches! Oh and don’t forget, you’ll get the CITO souvenir for attending!
Dick&Julbug and I are Co-Hosting this CITO event, and we can’t wait to see you all there!
