Cache carina ed abbastanza impegnativa accessibile però a tutti.
Nel mezzo della macchia di Casa Giustri, a pochi km da Cecina, si trova un misterioso acquedotto databile intorno al secolo XVIII-XIX.
Misterioso perchè nonostante sia una struttura interessante e nel contesto bella da vedersi, le notizie al riguardo sono praticamente nulle e le poche che esistono parlano vagamente di questa e di una struttura gemella dedicate alla gestione del patrimonio idrico della zona insieme ad un sistema di pozzi e fonti di cui si conservano alcuni esempi nella zona (1).
Vi si giunge attraverso una camminata su una strada abbastanza agevole che lambisce prima i campi per poi infilarsi nella macchia e che mano a mano si impadronisce dei rilievi in cui scorre il torrente Il Rio. In circa 45 minuti a piedi si arriva all'acquedotto passando attraverso un bel paesaggio fatto nei mesi più freschi di alberi secolari, felci, bucaneve e ciclamini. Non di rado è possibile avvistare cinghiali e caprioli. Inoltre il torrente regala scorci di acqua limpida e cascatelle. Basta tenere sempre la destra ai vari bivi.
La cache è nascosta sotto alcune pietre. Non ci si deve assolutamente arrampicare sull'acquedotto, si prega di rimettere la cache assolutamente nella stessa posizione grazie !!!
Attenzione !!! In inverno è una zona di caccia !!!

In the middle of the woodland of Casa Giustri, a few kilometers far from Cecina, there is a mysterious aqueduct dating back to the XVIII-XIX century.
Mysterious because even if it is an interesting structure in a beautifull place, there are few news about it and a twin structure dedicated to the management of water resources in the area with a system of wells and sources. Some examples are kept in the area (1).
It's possible to visit it walking on a fairly easy road that first pass near some fields and then change in woods that gradually takes possession of the reliefs in which flows the river Il Rio. In about 45 minutes you'll arrive at the aqueduct passing through a beautiful landscape where in the cooler months you'll see old trees, ferns, snowdrops and cyclamens. Often it is possible to spot wild boars and roes. In addition, the creek offers glimpses of clear water and waterfalls. Just always keep your right to the various crossroads
The cache is hidden under some stones. You absolutely do not have to climb on the aqueduct, but please put the cache back in the same position thanks !!!
Caution !!! In winter this is a hunting area !!!
