This geocache is placed to honor a third generation optometrist who passed away March 10, 2018. He often said, "You only have one pair of eyes and they have to last you the rest of your life." Dr. Michael Shannon had an office in this shopping center as well as in Buford and Cumming. Recognized as a humanitarian, he enjoyed the outdoors and serving our Flowery Branch community.
