It's Spring Break in Maryland and you would think that we'd try to spend it somewhere warm, like Florida. Instead, we are choosing to visit our second most favorite state--Maine! Maryland is famous for its blue crabs and you can find many, many restaurants here where they serve delicious crab cakes, but we look forward to enjoying lobster any time we are in Maine. My husband and I are both avid geocachers and we would love to meet some locals who enjoy geocaching too! So we thought the best way to meet fellow cachers in the area, to trade stories (some pathtags and trackables too) and get some insights on some great local caches was to have an event. When we are in the Augusta area, we try to stop in to see Paul the bartender at the Black and Tan. Not only are great drinks served at the bar, but they have a wonderful selection of Irish food on their menu. Seating is plentiful and the atmosphere is casual, so come as you are--you won't regret it.
You are not obligated to purchase any food or drinks. Children are welcome as well.
The Black and Tan at 6:00 p.m. sounds like a great place to meet and start the weekend on a high note.
