Welcome to Bigfoot’s playground. I took the test to see which hidden creature I most resemble and not surprising it spit out Bigfoot. I would almost swear that I’ve spotted him a time or two down here. He usually turns out to be a tree stump in a shadow. He is really good at Hide-and-Seek; reigning world champion to be exact. I was exploring this area and I stumbled upon his mailbox. I decide I would hide a cache here in the hopes that someone might catch a glimpse of him while he checked for his mail; I cannot imagine that he received much mail out here. The original post I was going to use disappeared. It was likely used in one of Bigfoot’s projects. I had to make due with what I had with me. Please use caution retrieving and replacing the cache. It should be fine if care is used. Enjoy Bigfoot’s playground and try to catch a pic of him for me. Happy caching!

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
