Geocache Description:

How’d that Trash (Powell’s) Land There?;
NoVAGO 2018 Spring CITO Event!

Come on out to help us NoVAGO make the game board a little cleaner, and earn a CITO souvenir in the process! We’ll be gathering at Powell’s Landing Park to help them get a jump start on spring cleaning. This location was personally picked by PWC Parks Ranger Eric Wysocki, who has been fantastic in partnering with cachers throughout the county.

Who: All Geocachers*

What: NoVAGO 2018 Spring CITO

When: Sunday, April 29, 2018 (9:00-10:30 AM)

Where: Powell’s Landing Park (Woodbridge, VA)

Please make sure to wear sturdy footwear for climbing in and around any rocks. While this is not a water-based CITO, it is along the shoreline of a creek/wetlands and, as such, there is always the potential for your feet to get a little wet so please take that into consideration when gearing up for the afternoon. Also please make sure to bring yourself some water and a light snack.

NoVAGO will be providing us with the necessary recycling and trash bags, gloves, and some long handled grabbers. Please feel free to bring your own gloves if desired, but it is not necessary.
