Geocache Description:

A meet and greet to chit chat all things geocaching, from small stories to tell tales and of course bring those trackables to swap, or for me to lose (as with my current trackable luck). Arrive by public transport being 7:29am train service from Central station arrives 8:13am, or there is parking at the posted coordinates. The event will officially start from 8:30 and run for 30 minutes or until the last of us leave in anticipation of a walk afterwards. This will be the Perfect day trip, if your game, and feel up to it, join us for a short walk that may turn into a 5 hour hike. I'm not promoting the nearby attractive multicache GC7G5RD, in which many shall follow closely and undertake to Heathcote station via The Uloola Track. If your as keen as many, please feel free to tag along. At least a litre of drinking water, and choose your snacks that will be easy to carry and enjoyable to eat, usually 2 to 3 x protein serves has high nutritional value and will help sustain energy levels throughout the walk (that is tuna, boiled eggs, 100g ziplock chicken etc will be enough in the way of snacks spaced 90 mins apart and enjoy the walk. Please look after the environment, and take any rubbish with you and collecting any found upon your walk, so not to leave a negative impact and of course always keeping to the main track/trails at all times, so to cause no more damage. Not forgetting hat, sun protection, and of course the right clothing, and camera. What a better way of getting some healthe exercise, fresh air in a beautiful natural setting while richly enjoying similar like minded walkers/cachers. You’ll be dazzled by a wildflower display in the spring. Keep an eye out for the towering gymea lily that shoots a striking red flower and the track follows the ridge line with some great scenic views.
