Niewiele osób wie, że tuż za rogiem Starego Kleparza dobrze zachowała się blizna po strasznych wydarzeniach drugiej wojny światowej. Najprawdopodobniej jest to smuga po ostrzale moździerzowym wystrzelonym w stronę ówcześnie luksusowej kamienicy w 1945 roku. W 2016 elewacja kamienicy była remontowana, jednak ślady postanowiono zachować. Niektóre z wgłębień po pociskach sięgają nawet kilku centymetrów. Nie ma wątpliwości, że ostrzał potłukł szyby w oknach, a na poziomie parteru można nawet zauważyć uszkodzenie do tej pory niewymienionego metalowego parapetu.

Only few people know that there is a well-preserved scar after terrible events of the second world war right behind the corner. Most likely this is a streak after a mortar firing aimed toward the then luxurious tenement house in 1945. In 2016 elevation of the house was renovated, however the traces remained. Some of the projectile recesses reach even a few centimeters. There is no doubt that the firing broke the windows, and a damage to the still not replaced windowsill can be seen on the ground floor level.
