I tried to make these puzzles as a simple way to get new cachers into puzzles and are largely based on puzzles I have solved. Though I am sure the experienced puzzle solvers won’t find these too much trouble to solve.
So my Brother lives up North in a place called Five Acres he was the only one from the family to do so. I never really understood why he wanted to live three miles from a pub, when like me he does love a drink. But everyone to their own I suppose, Though it is a good place for him to store his six cars that he owns, each one is a classic. Four were even restored by him, by hand.
I decided to travel to the West Country for some much needed rest, but whilst down there I thought I would give him a call and find out how he was. Well after some general chit, chat which was pretty much about nothing, he mentioned that he was selling a car. “Have you had much interest?” I enquired. “Zero” he said. “Zero really none at all?” I replied.” “Yup” He Said, “Zero calls so far, I can only think it’s because of the advertised four miles on the clock, maybe no one believes that.” Listen he said I have to go as it’s almost eight o’clock. Wow, I thought to myself not one phone call that does surprise me.
Well look at me rambling on about nothing, probably boring you all to tears? Still I got to go and cook some dinner going to have seven potatoes with my juicy steak this evening. All washed down with a glorious bottle of red.
