This is a tribute cache to Sparkel and Sparky500. This is just a thank you for being a great friend and a congrats on an impressive milestone of finds. My fondest memory of the Garneau's happened last Christmas Day. We had finished our family Christmas dinner on the 24th and our youth were readying to depart to be with their significant others families for Christmas day. We got a call saying if you can would you please join our family for Christmas dinner. Wow In my 52 yrs on this Earth I have never had someone other than family open their house and offer me dinner on Christmas day. We had to accept. Upon arriving at Chateau Garneau we were greeted by Boo and Moby. Boo danced at our feet shouting Welcome while Moby promised to be our friend for life if we would just pat him. As we entered the smells of dinner filled the air. The smiling hosts welcomed us with open arms which set the mood for the evening. We no sooner had our coats and shoes that Frank had a drink for us all. We toasted "To great Friends." After a while of chatting in the kitchen Frank and I went to the dining area where I was greeted by the lovely Sarah and the feline brigade. We got to meet Julie's sister and father that we had met a few weeks earlier. It is easy to see where Julie's love of laughter and good heart comes from. The evening continued with food and drink, cat snuggles and dog rubs but the part I remember the most was the Love and Laughter that filled the home. The way we were welcomed into the family for the day. That was a Christmas present that money couldn't buy and one I will never forget.
