After finding MtnGoat50, Love2Ski, and Nigel's geocache, "Nigel's Horseshoe Lake Cache," my geodog convinced me we should hide one for them to find. And well, I certainly didn't want to pack it there just to bring it back home. Kona and I had a great time breaking through the snow on this second day of spring. It was just too nice to stay home! This area is a great place for hikes, but during hunting season it is best to wear orange. In the summer, bring extra mosquito repellant. The cache is a small Lock and Lock container that I won at the end of the year WSGA event. It is in front of two small trees tucked in a cranny and covered with pine needes...no lack of needles here! It is not far from the trail...less than 10 feet or so.
