Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden just outside a Dairy farm.

Dairy farming has been part of agriculture for thousands of years. Dairy cows are bred specifically to produce large quantities of milk.

There are over 270 million cows producing milk across the world.

The European Union is the largest milk producer and has about 23 million dairy cows.

Cows need access to pasture with plenty of space and opportunity to graze.

This is important for their physical and mental well-being, and their ability to perform natural behaviours.

The main milk products in Northern Ireland are milk powder and cheese.

So far there are 2684 dairy farms in Northern Ireland.

The Northern Ireland dairy sector employs about 2072 people.

The cache is a small tube with room for just a log so BYOP.

Cache is situated on a quiet country road, however there is a lot of farm traffic so please try not to block entrances.
