Mad Max - Beyond Thunderdome (Wellington) Traditional Cache

I was out on the dirt road heading to Te Kopahou Trig and its nearby cache when I heard the roar of loud motors in the valley below. Looking over the spur I saw a swirl of dust and a series of strange buggies racing around with large tyres and frames and not much else. It reminded me of a scene out of the Max Max film series about the post-apocalyptic world after the oil has run out. Then I looked at the dome on the hill and I realised I might be in a movie set. I didn't hear Tina Turner singing or see Mel Gibson but you never know what you will encounter out here in the Wild West. BYO pen.
