Geocache Description:

The Lady de Waal Bridge, crossing the Groot Rivier, was built from 1911 to 1912. It was officially opened in 1913 and named after the wife of Sir Frederick de Waal, Administrator of the Cape Province. It washed away on two occasions. The bridge was then rebuilt nine feet higher as a single lane steel-girder bridge. When the new bridge was built in 1974, passionate residents asked that the old bridge remain as part of the town's history.

There was a cache here but it was, unfortunately, removed as a result of all of the muggles in the area. The small magnetic container, which can take swag, has been securely placed. Because of the potential problems, a bit of agility is required to access it.

It will be fun to find but please take care as it is high.
