Nice place to take a rest, sit, and enjoy the view of Almaden Valley. Slightly less than a mile hike to the cache with some elevation gain from the Rancho San Vicente entrance of Calero County Park. The trails are exposed, so you will get nice views along your hike, but no shade.
Park hours are from 8:00am to sunset. Trail hours are from sunrise to sunset. Dogs on leash and bicycles are allowed in all areas of this park. Watch out for ticks and rattlesnakes. No poison oak seen at the cache location when placed.
The cache is in a small (~3" diameter", 2" high) container covered with camo tape. Cache contains some trinkets to trade and a logsheet. Bring your own pen.
