It's Spring/Summer! What could be better than playing some friendly volleyball in the park, eating cake and talking about caching on a sunny Saturday afternoon (I hope! Wet weather alternative will be provided nearer the time if it looks necessary)!
I'll also be bringing some cake - if anyone else wishes to bring some extra cake (other picnic foodstuffs are also acceptable!) for after the "match" that would be excellent.
Those of you that have come to one of the 3 previous volleyball and cake events may also decide this time to bring wellies, raincoats, umbrellas, a spare ark, suntan cream, sombreros, insect repellent or sunglasses - please delete as applicable!
I hope that the bowl don't decide to use this public park as a campsite like they did the first year, but as there seem to be no events for the whole of 2018 on their website then we should be OK!
Meet at 2pm with group photo, log signing and cake and nibbles at 3pm. After which the event will officially stop at 3:30
There is no requirement on you to play volleyball to claim this event. NB: You might like to bring some camping chairs / deckchairs if you don't intend to play much as otherwise there's no seating at this venue.
