Geocache Description:

A fine pair at Knowle.

The main road can be busy at times - take care.

The co-ords will take you to a telegraph pole , where you should take note of the four numbers in yellow squares which are A B C D. Use these numbers in formula.

N51 07.(B+D)(A+B)(A-C) W004.09 (A-D)(B+D)(B+C)

The cache is a small camo bag with film canister.

Number 1072 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to red post box. The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, not more than 100' apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k.

If any body would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that first you visit www.afinepair.co.uk to request a number to avoid any duplication.

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark list of this service. Once your cache is published please contact him via

at geocachinga finepair @gmail.com to have yours listed.
