CITO ("Cache In, Trash Out") events are a chance for Geocachers to make a positive contribution to the effort of keeping our world beautiful, safe and as they should be. We often make use of this rich landscape as we hide and seek our caches but this gives us a chance to do more. Today's event is mostly about litter-picking.
Please bring the following with you:
- Suitable footwear and clothing (the ground here is uneven)
- Gloves
- A drink or snack and your lunch!
- A litter picker, if you have one
I will provide:
- Bin liners
- Antibacterial hand gel
Liquorice park is a community open space run by volunteers and includes a community garden, sculpture, a variety of habitats, a performance area and has stunning views of the West end of the city and beyond. This event is held with the permission and encouragement of the Trustees and volunteers. For more information follow this link.
Children are welcome to take part but should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Dogs are welcome too but should be kept on a lead. (Dogs can also take part by encouraging their owners to take away any poop they leave!) Everyone takes part at their own risk, although accidents and incidents are unlikely if we're careful and sensible.
Please note: there is limited parking on Carline Road near the coordinates. Please car-share where possible.
