A cache in a tucked-away greenspace surrounded by East Vancouver suburb. Duck behind the trees and escape into the cool refuge of the park.
Renfrew Ravine is the only park in the city of Vancouver with a creek in a natural ravine, and Still Creek is the longest remaining visible creek in Vancouver.
NOTE. PLEASE READ.
The reality of life in East Vancouver is that there are intravenous drug users. Sometimes they discard needles in the park. Please proceed with caution. If you find any needles, please contact the Portland Hotel Society's Mobile Needle Exchange Hotline at 604-657-6561 or email needlevan@phs.ca. Staff will go to the area, and safely collect and dispose of the needle. Please don't touch it yourself.
That said, this is my community and my neighbourhood, which I care deeply about. Keep your logs respectful or they will be deleted. If you can't abide that don't look for this cache. Thank you.
Congratulations to Kev_MacD on being FTF!
