One of the most beautiful places near Chania, a small lake with possibilities to watch more than 200 species of birds’ incl. pelican, swan, falcon ... Short walk almost around the whole lake with three watching towers. Take a camera, binoculars, telescope and a small portion of bird food. Suitable for all age especially for children. Take a rest in two adjoining restaurants with a nice view to the lake and Lefka Ori.
