A cache was ABSOLUTELY called for! Something different and special.
The log for the cache you seek is contained in a hole drilled in a tree and covered with dirt!

Further, this cache is very close to a school!

It is also very close to another cache!

This area is home to a variety of wildlife including black bears, bobcats and poisonous snakes (copperheads and rattlesnakes).
NOTE: Timber rattlesnake observed within 20’ of cache! See logs.
Please be familiar with actions to be taken in case of an encounter, and, enjoy the unique opportunity to enjoy some of nature’s treasures if you are so lucky to see any.
The park does allow hunting, in season, so take the appropriate safety actions during these times.
If there is any doubt about safety, wait until hunting season is over, or, cache on Sundays.
