Geocache Description:

For the 2018 April CITO Week, the geocaching community is invited to take part in a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) Event at Wallumatta Nature Reserve in North Ryde.

April CITO Week 2018

~Meeting Point: Wallumatta Nature Reserve, Cressy Road, North Ryde.
~Date: Sunday, 22nd April 2018.
~Time: 11:00am to 12:00pm (11:00hrs to 12:00hrs).
~Bring: strong gardening (type) gloves, sunscreen, water and enclosed shoes. It is also recommended you wear a long sleeve shirt, pants and a hat. Wet weather gear is also suggested in case of inclement conditions.

We will meet at the posted co-ordinates and split into groups to tackle the park and stretch of Tarban Creek. The CITO Event should last for about an hour and we will take a group photo at the end. You are welcome to continue cleaning up the site after the official event ends.

This event is supported by Clean Up Australia and it has been registered as a private event.

Arrangements have been made with Ryde City Council to pick up and dispose the trash we collect on the day.

Please post your 'Will Attend' log if you are able to lend a hand and we look forward to seeing you at the CITO Event.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which the event is located, the Wallumedegal (Wallumattagal) people of the Eora Nation. We also would like to pay our respects to their Elders - past, present and emerging.
