English: I am a preschool teacher from Boulder, Colorado. With my students we have been investigating how technology can complement or enhance our connection to places. As part of this project we have been going geocaching in our community. When the children learned I would be traveling to Italy for an education conference they wanted to make a geocache that I could hide here and share with the children of Reggio Emilia.
One of my favorite presentations at the conference was about the Diana School in Il Parco Del Popolo and the children's work investigating a "secret wall." After the inspiring presentation I decided I should hide the geocache somewhere in the park near the Diana School.
"Team_ER" has agreed to maintain the cache and someone from Boulder Journey School will also check on the cache every year when they visit Reggio Emilia for the conference.
Italiano: Sono un insegnante di scuola dell'infanzia di Boulder, in Colorado. Con i miei studenti abbiamo indagato su come la tecnologia può integrare o migliorare la nostra connessione ai luoghi. Come parte di questo progetto, stiamo andando in geocaching nella nostra comunità. Quando i bambini hanno saputo che sarei in viaggio in Italia per una conferenza sull'istruzione, volevano creare una geocache che potessi nascondere qui e condividere con i bambini di Reggio Emilia.
Una delle mie presentazioni preferite alla conferenza riguardava la Scuola Diana in Il Parco Del Popolo e il lavoro dei bambini che indagavano su un "muro segreto". Dopo la presentazione ispiratrice ho deciso di nascondere la geocache da qualche parte nel parco vicino alla scuola Diana.
"Team_ER" ha accettato di mantenere questa cache. Qualcuno della "Boulder Journey School" controllerà anche la cache ogni anno quando visitano Reggio Emilia per la conferenza.
