Rehai is a small rocky outcropping close to Xinbeitou. Aside from being a nice area for hiking with some good views, it is also one of the few outdoor climbing areas close to Taipei. With about 30 different routes it is much smaller than the magnificent LongDong on the east coast, but serves as a great afternoon crag easily accessible from Taipei. There used to be a climbing cache here, but I've decided to make one easily accessible by hiking instead.
This cache is at the top of a rock cliff, but you don't need to climb anything. Just normal hiking and wayfinding will lead you to the spot. You never have to be close to a cliff either. Enjoy and I'll appreciate any pictures of the great views :)
