Since there are no other local cachers to adopt these or help out, I am archiving when necessary. Use extreme STEALTH in retrieving and replacing the container and re-hide as found. If retrieval is impossible or the cache seems to be missing, e-mail me your final coordinates for permission to log as found


The 1.5 km long Malecón is well-known for its more than a dozen art sculptures along its route ["The Malecon Shuffle" (GC6ENGA)] (click).

This quick 2-stage multi highlights another one of the fine works of Ramiz Barquet (click), a highly talented and much loved Puero Vallarta sculptor -- "Saint Paschal Baylon" or "San Pascual Bailón" .

His most famous work, “Nostalgia,” has been on the malecón ocean promenade since 1984 and has become one of the main visual symbols of Puerto Vallarta.

To find the final cache coordinates, take the last 2 digits of the years shown on the plaque (15XX - 15YY) and ADD XX + YY to get "Z" and use Z in the following equation:

Este rápido multi etapa de 2 etapas destaca otra de las excelentes obras de Ramiz Barquet (click), un escultor de Puero Vallarta muy talentoso y muy querido: "San Pascual Baylon" o "San Pascual Bailón".

Su obra más famosa, "Nostalgia", ha estado en el paseo marítimo del malecón desde 1984 y se ha convertido en uno de los principales símbolos visuales de Puerto Vallarta.
