Geocache Description:


Welcome to the Island! This is a series of 108 caches dedicated to my favorite TV show, "LOST." This compass in the desert is both a tribute to the show, and a thank you as well. 🤘

Vincent was Walt's yellow Labrador Retriever, and the only non-human survivor of Oceanic Flight 815. During the time that he spent on the island, he had many owners, including : Walt, Shannon, Rose and Bernard. Sometime after Jack had saved the island by replugging the Heart and stumbled away, Vincent found Jack in the very same bamboo grove where they first encountered each other. Vincent laid down beside Jack and comforted him as he died.

The cardinal legs of this series of caches are mostly driveable...a passenger car can easily do the eastern and northern legs. The rest is viable with a high clearance vehicle, except for the far western and southern legs. Pinstriping is REAL. A 4x4 can easily do all 4 cardinal legs.

The ordinal legs are all hiking caches. There is minimal bushwhacking. And as always, watch for things that sting, bite and scratch.
