Geocache Description:

Welcome to the City of Toledo's Liberty Park.   Due to its shape and terrain, this park seems smaller than it actually is.   This is a 15 acre park with a paved walking trail (with benches), picnic shelter and tables (seasonal), and play equipment for the kids.   The terrain is interesting as there is barely any flat surface in this park.  The land is almost completely sloped one way or another.    This park gives a nice view of Interstate I-75 and is a nice place to watch the traffic flow by.   There is a small parking lot for 2 cars at the indicated waypoint.   If that lot is full, you can park on one of the two streets north of the park (Lockwood or Drexel both accessed from Berdan) or at the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center at Willys Park west of the parking coords.

The original cache was partially exposed and destroyed when they cleared the area of brush. The pictured Dinosaur on the page was originally found near the first location, but it also has disappeared and has nothing to do with the new hide/location. I just liked the picture and wanted to keep it on the page. Due to the clearing, I had to move this geocache to a new location. To avoid most of the thorny plants, enter the rocky area about 60 feet due west of GZ and CAREFULLY step your way to GZ from there.

This is a daytime only cache, please no night caching!
