Good Day Everyone!
It all started in August 2008, Geocaching was the topic of conversation over dinner between my ex-partner, his mother and step-father, and myself.
That night once I got home, I fired up the trusty old PC and created a "Caching" name..... Being very plain and not that creative, KyleandScott was the name Scott and myself came up with.
At this time Scott and I never had a GPS, and we both were not on smartphones, so we pulled out the ole paper and pencil, and started making some notes.
A few days later on August 5th to be exact, Scott and I set out to find out first Geocache.
At the time we lived in Belleville Ontario, We headed down to the water, and sure enough, not after we started looking, we had our first cache in hand! Meyers Pier – GC12KBV.

I was automatically hooked on the fact of getting out and geocaching!
In November 2009, Scott and I split our paths in life and went our separate ways, and still kept on caching. I created a new caching name Kyle.Ruttan and still use it to this day!
Well thats about sums up the 10 years of caching part. Now onto the farewell part. As a few geocachers are aware, I will be leaving Victoria for 6 to 7 months. I do not wish to talk about that on here, however, please feel free to ask me about it in person at the event.
I am looking forward to see all of those who show up!
