This is a two-stage mystery, in which you need to solve two puzzles. Please pay careful attention to the cache attributes.
The posted coordinates, at which you will NOT find a cache, are at one of the locations featured in a well-known novel that takes place (mostly) in Toronto. The first puzzle features that and some other works of fiction which take place, at least partly if not completely, in Toronto.
(It's puzzling to note that I have a favourite western author, who writes titles that are quite popular up north!)
Anyway, solve Puzzle 1 pictured below to find coordinates that are near GZ. Then go to those coordinates and solve Puzzle 2 to find the location of the cache container.
No need for any "I forgot my pen" logs – there are several in the cache. :-)
Puzzle 1
Solve for:
North A B˚ J L . (D+E) G (G+H-I)
West E (K+L)˚ A (C-I) . (B-D-F) ( (DR of G+H)+J ) G

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
Puzzle 2 (Field puzzle! To be solved at the coordinates you found in Puzzle 1.)
Reference the space above the door and solve for: KLLMN OPQRQ
K = the number of Ds
L = the number of verbs
M = the number of Ws
N = L x M
O = the number of words
P = O PLUS the number of Js
Q = P MINUS the number of words in the top ro
R = the number of Os
PLEASE do not comment about the final location in your log, so we can all be surprised! :-) Thanks.
Congrats to Bouffe, ikkipants and yellow.warbler for the FTF!
