Geocache Description:

$4.5m upgrade of Saltfleet St Bridge.

Months of work have gone into strengthening the bridge’s steel structure

to allow the load capacity limit to be increased from 25 to 42.5 gross tonnes.

Additionally, widening of the adjacent shared pedestrian-cycle path has been completed from 1.8 metres to 3 metres.
