Therre's been a sand quarry in Ayleford since the middle ages, and from this footpath between Aylesford and Eccles you can see right across the quarry to Aylesford Church, high up on its hill overlooking the land below.
It's a lovely walk across farmland, and you'll see not only the quarry and church, but also an oast house a vineyard and a solar farm from this viewpoint.
You're looking for a small bison tube with a log book in it. You'll need somethig to write with.
