BASSOVILLE MANY YEARS AGO

Many years ago, this entire area was a giant skiing resort. The resort was founded by my great-grandfather, Basso the First. My grandad was pretty vain, and he called his creation, "BASSOVILLE SNOWLAND."

Well, this spot marks the junction of 2 challenging ski runs: The "Hoo-Koo" and the dreaded "Temelpa" black diamond run. Very few skiers were capable of managing these tough runs. Sometimes the less-skillful skiers went over the edge. It was tough to get out, and some might still be down there.

Anyway, when I was a lad, Basso I put some type of container on the sign post. Can it still be there after all these years?
