“What is it, Beaver?”
“Do you know much about flowers?”
“Not really, squirt. Why do you want to know?”
“I want to know what kind of flowers mean 'don't get mad at your son'."
"I don't think they make flowers for that!"
"Ah jeez, Wally, you’re no help.”
“What do you need that kind of thing for, anyway?”
“I can’t figure out my math homework, and I’m going to get an “F”. Mom and Dad will be really mad when they find out, so I thought if I bought them the right flowers, they won’t get mad.”
“How about I help you with the math homework? I'm older and smarter, so it should be easy for me.”
“Gee thanks, Wally! The teacher gave us the table of numbers, and we have to figure out how they relate to each other.”
