This circular walk around Skelton is around five miles long and should take 2/3 hours. There are 32 caches plus 3 other caches.
The walk is so called because after cache 17 it takes you down Dog Kennel Lane which is named after kennels which stood beside the original carriageway to Brampton Hall.
The Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog, and is named after the smallest state in Mexico. It is thought this breed dates back to the mid 1800s. Just like human babies, the Chihuahua has a soft spot on its head called a Molera.
Famous Chihuahua owners include Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Jamie Leigh Curtis .
FUN FACTS:
Brandy, the smallest dog in the world is just 6 inches from her nose to the tip of her tail! Comparatively, the largest living dog is over 7 feet long!
Don't let their little size fool you! One example, in 2008, a 4 pound Chihuahua named Honey saved her owner's 8 year old granddaughter from a vicious attack by a much larger dog.
The Chihuahua is currently the 19th most popular breed in Britain.
