Geocache Description:


Everyone knows that Kowen forest is full of pine trees. They also know that those pine trees are there to be harvested at some stage. This means that these pines never really get all that large ... Unless, of course, the tree is in a spot that is hard to access! There was a tree like that here - in the gully. It survived a few harvest cycles, and grew to a majestic size! Sadly however, although it was not harvested, someone decided it needed to be cut down. A pity really.
