This is the second of four geocaches placed on the West Coast of Newfoundland, related to places I remember fondly as I grew up in the area.
As a kid in the 1970s, driving through Steady Brook in the summer often meant a stop in to George's at Steady Brook. Soft serve ice cream was definitiely a must, and, when the mini golf course was here, that was a must as well.
This cache is hidden in a field which essentially would have been the middle of the mini golf course, in one of only a couple of places a cache could be hidden! The cache is a small camo'd container with some fun swag upon initial hide, with a winter-caching themed TB.
