The LEC - Priory Park CITO
We have arranged this CITO event with Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. We will be collecting litter.
As this event takes place during CITO week, you will earn a geocaching souvenir.
Where: Priory Park, Reigate
When: Sunday 22nd April 2018 between 09:30 and 11:30
We will gather outside the Pavilion from 09:00. In the Pavilion there is a café and toilets.
Once we have all arrived we will be briefed by the Parks Officer, and you will be provided with litter pickers, gloves and rubbish bags. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome and dog owners must pick up after their dogs.
At 11:30 we will reassemble at the Pavilion. If you want to bring your trackables along you will have an opportunity to swap them at this point. However, unfortunately due to the event's location it is unsuitable for large trackables. After that I will take some photos of the team with hopefully a huge rubbish pile. If the weather is good why not bring a picnic lunch and stay on for a while after for a chat.
When you post your "Will Attend" log it would be helpful if you say how many people will be coming with you. That way I can give the Parks Officer an indication of how many of us to expect.
The car park in Bell Street gets very busy so I have added a waypoint for Bancroft Road car park instead.
Hope to see you there - it will be fun!
