Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of four geocaches hid while visiting family on the west coast, at places of significance when I grew up here in the 70s and 80s.

Humber Gardens.  So many memories here, as a young hockey fan growing up in the 70s and 80s.  The Newfoundland Senior Hockey League was in full swing back then, with the Corner Brook Royals taking on the Stephenville Jets, Port aux Basques Mariners or the St.John's Capitals. The "A" section of Animals (i.e. crazy fans) were as entertaining as the game, every time.  I also remember seeing "Les Canadiens Anciens" here, the "Montreal Canadiens Old-Timers" team, as well as many Templeton Collegiate versus Herdman Collegiate hockey games (no comment on how they went).  :)

The cache is a classic style hide, a small container with a logsheet, yet big enough for a TB dog tag and a small traveller.  Wheelchair accessible.
