This portion of the Lisa Killough Trail is wide open with awesome views throughout. Here there is a view of a large meadow carpeted with wildflowers in the spring, a pond, and Mt. Umunhum in the distance.
The Rancho San Vicente entrance of Calero County Park is the closest trailhead to this cache. Park hours are from 8:00am to sunset. Trail hours are from sunrise to sunset. Dogs on leash and bicycles are allowed in all areas of this park. Watch out for ticks and rattlesnakes. No poison oak seen at the cache location when placed.
The cache is about 10 feet off the trail in a regular sized square plastic container, 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 7", covered with camo tape, and contains some trinkets to trade and a logbook.
