We will be assisting the property manager and stewards of Lula Lake Land Trust from 9:30-11:30AM Saturday April 28th. The work may include sanding and painting trail signs, trimming branches and brush along trails, etc.
Posted coordinates are for the entrance gate. Drive down the gravel road to the parking meadow. Sign in at the Kiosk. We will be nearby there until 9:45 or so, and then head to the area designated by the property manager. We are discussing several possibilities for the CITO project, and you will earn the CITO/Earth Day souvenir for attending!
Wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for some hiking. Most of the trails in Lula Lake Land Trust involve elevation change. Bring gloves, pruning tools. We will have trash sacks, water, snacks and a few prizes and swag to give away.
Lula Lake Land Trust is only open 2 days/month, and there will be plenty of time after we finish our CITO work and enjoy the views from the ridgetop to find the traditional caches and admire the waterfalls!
