An easy cache on DAY 1 of the West Highland Way trail from Milngavie to Fort William.
If you are walking the whole WHW, you have by now completed the first 4 miles from Milngavie through Mugdock Woods, along Craigallan Loch and up to this spot.
This is a good place for a “wee” rest, a drink and a bite to eat.
This is also the first time that the views really open up towards the North and you can start appreciating… THE CHALLENGE AHEAD
Enjoy the rest of your first day’s walking, rest tonight as the serious challenges of the East banks of Loch Lomond are looming ahead… but you need to conquer Conic Hill first!
The cache is a plastic lock container large enough to take TBs and souvenirs.
