Geocache Description:

Beautiful Caprock Canyon is more remote than  Palo Duro, but it also has a wonderful selection of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails as well as a paved road that takes you in close (sometimes very close) proximity to the state bison herd.

The  North Prong (NP) series of caches are along Canyon Loop Trail and North Prong Trail that will take you almost to the Fern Cave. After seeing the Fern Cave you can continue on the South Prong Trail and almost complete a loop back to the beginning of your journey.

The caches are pill bottles (most painted black).  Some hanging and others covered by rocks.  Hints are given on most, we want you to find the caches because the purpose of the series is to see the beauty of the North Prong area.

PERMIT IS ON FILE IN THE CAPROCK CANYON STATE PARK OFFICE.
