Geocache Description:

The first cache in a circular route around the quiet paths and roads to Linden Hall. This is a pleasant 1.5 mile walk suitable for everyone, although accessing some of the actual caches may be unsuitbale for wheelchair users. Dogs are welcome and may be let off the lead although take care for the occasional car as usual.

Walking from the parking at the hotel, try to look out for the caterpillar hedge (you'll know it when you see it), plus the best tree for geokids to get a photo. We cant decide, does it look like an elephant or a Brontosaurus?!

Head down the long South Road away from the Hall, with the golf course on your left. Your coordinates may be a little confused down here, the cache is only 3 metres from the road. A little discretion may be required here as golfers may be sitting at the cafe, and perhaps a torch as it's a shady spot at the best of times. Look for the tree with the most low leaves and branches.
