When I was young the top of Mount Gibraltar, or as we called it "The Inner Bowl", was a very popular picnic area. The grass was mowed around the big trees, so you could play ball games, and the place was always packed with picnickers every weekend. I am one for regeneration, but I am also a little saddened when I now look into the Inner Bowl... I don't know... it just looks unloved. Oh well I have my memories.
