This and other caches are in the South Berwick Town Forest or the adjacent Desrocher Family Forest. Look for the sign on Knights Pond Rd. Parking is available at the Forest entrance which is at the end of a 1/2 mile dirt road off Knights Pond Road. Please respect the Carry In - Carry Out rule as well as the rights of nearby landowners. This cache continues the saga of little gray ET's that have visited our town forest and decided to stay. This one must be a natural geocacher because, although I didn't think any caches had previously been placed in this forest, this little guy found one and decided to become a squatter. There were only the remnants of a loc-n-loc, a plastic bag, and some old dirty doo-dads. You will find this little gray hanging around an ancient 10 ft tall stump that succumbed some time ago to age, wind, snow, lightning, or perhaps some combination of these afflictions. At any rate, our ET feels right at home there. Come pay him a visit as well as his friends that seem to be populating our Town Forest at a slow but steady rate. This cache is within a few feet of the Walt's Walk trail which is great for adults and kids. Besides getting some exercise, there are signs pointing out a variety of trees- a great educational aid for young and old aspiring arborists... or aliens wishing to become educated on earthly flora.
