The urban section of the K&P Trail was opened in May 2017, starting at Kingston City Hall and connecting with the original trail route near Hwy 401 at Binnington Court. But the urban route simply follows sidewalks from City Hall to Wellington Stret and from there to Doug Fluhrer Park where it finally starts to look like a hiking trail. Maps are available from either the City's K&P Trail website or from the Rideau Trail Association website (the Rideau Trail now uses the K&P route within the city).
I have placed a growing number of caches along this route, some easy traditionals and some a little more difficult. This is one of the easier ones. It's wheelchair accessible and magnetic.
